Euro 2024 has arrived, and the best teams in Europe are set to square off to determine the new kings of the continent. Italy enters the tournament as the reigning champions, but nations like England, France, Spain, and Portugal are eager to make a strong statement. Hosts Germany, with the home-ground advantage, cannot be counted out either.
The action commenced on June 14 and will undoubtedly peak on July 14, when the final showdown will determine the new European champions. This summer, the tournament will showcase many of the world's top soccer talents, including France's Kylian Mbappe and England's Jude Bellingham. Alongside the larger nations, smaller teams like Georgia and Albania hope to pull off surprising upsets and make their mark in the competition.
In total, 16 of the 24 teams entering the group stage will advance to the knockout stages, where the real battle for European supremacy begins.
