You don't understand that I grew up in hospitals. I grew up in hospitals. That's how much pride this guy had." The pristine condition of the facility is a reflection of Mutombo's meticulous care and unwavering pride in his heritage and philanthropic work.
In 2020, Mutombo's foundation embarked on constructing a school for pre-K through sixth-grade students in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This initiative underscores his lifelong commitment to education and the betterment of future generations.
